Jean Renfield-Miller is uniquely qualified to help students and parents navigate the New York City independent/private school environment and maximize a child's potential. Jean is a life-long New Yorker who has worked for over 35 years in New York City Independent Schools. She has been a classroom teacher and a reading specialist. Most recently, she spent over ten years as an admission director at an independent girls school in Manhattan in addition to maintaining a private tutorial practice. Jean's academic credentials include an Ed.M. from Harvard University and an M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University. Jean brings a wealth of experience and her extensive professional network to benefit families and students.
